We’ve learned a bunch of tricks for this in this course: check for bylines and author information, read the “About Us” page on websites, and read articles critically to make sure the information is valid. But even as the sources of information on the internet proliferate, big media companies continue to consolidate. Explore the graphic to the right to learn a little more about media ownership.
